LABEL PROFILER – SALT.: Just like nature, SALT frames are simple on the outside but deeply complex in their creation. Take the opposite of over-manufactured, mass-marketed and mass-produced and you’ll get to the heart of what makes the brand so appealing. SALT combines the best materials available, like sturdy, lightweight Japanese Beta Titanium and luminous, high-quality acetates with bespoke craftsmanship: reportedly, it takes 130 steps done by third-generation Japanese artisans to create each frame by hand.

Though relatively new to the premium, independent eyewear manufacturer scene, SALT, founded in 2006, has already made an indelible impression with timeless designs that are always relevant, always on trend, but never trendy. The brand embraces minimalism and shines its spotlight squarely on precision and meticulous details, giving way to a smart, modern look. The latest collection takes cues from the rugged Sierra Mountains and features warm, earthy color tones like dried herb, butterscotch and olive, as well as double-mirrored rose and blue lenses which bring to mind the reflection on a glassy lake.
