4SEE EDITORIAL  – TRUE CRIME

The stark contrast of red on white; the remnants of a scene played out in graphic action. Who was here, and what is left behind? There is only one way to see clearly when the clues of drama remain, so sterile under white-bright lights. Strong frames and dark lenses in substantial geo-shapes retain mystery for sunglasses by MARC O’POLO and VOGUE EYEWEAR, while vintage-inspired frames and clear lenses by COBLENS and KOBERG reflect a sensibility to mask any ulterior motive. Arousing anything but suspicion, bold yet feminine pieces by YUICHI TOYAMA hint at the retro, but remain distinctively now. Look sharp.
